February has been a month of discovery for our class. We loved learning about George Washington and Abraham Lincoln.  St. Valentine's Day also was special and the children created beautiful boxes to hold their valentines.

We had a fun week creating our own snowmen to decorate our classroom. The children also worked hard practicing their math and handwriting skills. It is wonderful to see how much they have achieved since September!

December has been an exciting time here in our classroom. In addition to all our usual activities, we have added some special projects. We have enjoyed learning about Advent and have made a  beautiful Advent Wreath together. It has  also been fun creating Nativity Scenes and Angels. We have also been practicing for our upcoming Christmas Concert.

We have been busy making turkeys and  learning about the first Thanksgiving. It was wonderful to meet with you and to share all the children's work during our conferences. I am thankful to be your child's teacher this year. I hope you all have a very blessed and joyous Thanksgiving.
